I think Powershot(Windrunner) is one of the best skills in the game, all things considered(EG: Ulti's get a drawback because theyre not easy to pump up level/high mana cost for the most part).

Clearing Creeps WHILE Harassing in Early game?

Shoot to the kill in early mid game?

Ridiculously powerful nuke with crazy range?

YES PLEASE.

Oh yeah. It clears trees, so you can cut a way to hide out some places(not sure why you would want to though)

Drawbacks:

Windrunner's Third skill and ultimate kinda and REALLY suck, respectively, compared to Shackleshot and Powershot.

Adaptive Deck Shift

Decks always have different focuses.

In fact, sometimes less than ten cards in the deck can shift the deck towards a different direction.

If you notice my Gemini Chaos and current Voltech Blade, they have less than 10 cards different from Alius Beatdown.

Meaning that with the use of my side deck, I can shift from a Chaos deck, heavy on special summoning, to Alius Beatdown, completely anti-meta, to a combo and hero based Voltech Blade, all with the use of less than 15 cards difference(about 7 cards for each variant)

I call this Adaptive Deck Shift, to shift your deck away from one focus, leading your opponent to try to counter a strategy that isnt there any more, or isnt very prominent.

While this isnt exactly available for all deck types, simple changes such as Lightsworn-> Zombiesworn can be done.

My new deck works!

Unlike my past 2 attempts at deck building, which ended in horrid draws, my new deck works really well!

Against BF, it works wonders.

Pheonix Blade X Airman X Voltic works wonders.

Also, I made a -1 Fissure +1 Arms Hole fix.

While losing your normal summon and top deck, both not so nice, it allows for quick searching of Pheonix Blade, as well as DDR.

The reason Yubel decks fail is not because Yubel lives three times, its because you ONLY need to destroy it three times.

Lets take a look.

Situation 1:
Enemy Summon Fiend SUmmoner, Re-Summon, and Revive Yubel.
Me: Activate Gemini Spark. Blow up Summoner. Draw.
Enemy: Summon Yubel V2
Me: Activate Torrential Tribute. Clear the field of other random annoying crap.
Enemy: Summon Yubel V3
Me: Activate Hero Blast, get back aforementioned tributed Alius, and destroy Yubel V3.
Enemy: T.T

Situation 2:
Enemy summon Yubel through Mystic Tomato.
Me: Set 2 Cards.
Enemy: Draw. Set 1 card
Me: Activate Gemini Spark. Target set card. Chain Hero Blast. Target Alius, to destroy Yubel.
Chain resolves, destroys both, Yubel misses timing and cannot evolve.

As you can see, Yubel decks just dont cut it.

too bad Fubuki.

I hear that its quite popular in the USA, where everyone thinks its a good card, but in places like singapore its considered crap.

Lets have a look shall we.

The first effect is ridiculously crappy. Lets ignore it. The only time you would want to risk RFPing the top of your deck is if your running Necroface and you just carrier'd it.

Now, the second effect is where this card shines.

It brings back a monster from the RFP, regardless of what it is,

However, it must be destroyed by battle, the part where I think people say it sucks.

Creature swap is a card used quite often in the TCG, which allows for even more abuse of destroy by battle mechanic, but in Singapore or other places, it isnt used as often, for reasons unknown, which is why it isnt able to be abused quite as much.

Cards that protect themselves

I use the term "Fragile" for cards crucial to the deck but cannot really protect themselves.

Oppression cannot protect itself. It can stop DAD and JD, but most of the time it'll end up being blown away by something stupid and simple like Breaker, also its a loss of a card waiting to happen, as it just begs to be nuked by MST and Storm.

Drain, while stopping its own destruction from monsters, does a much better job of protecting itself, because of this, but also that sometimes, it isnt worth the Storm/MST.

Now, to protect these two cards from the aforementioned rampant backrow hate, people run: Dark Bribes and Solemn Judgement.

Eating away not only at your life, long term advantage, but also deckspace, the most important of the three.

Macro, on the other hand, does a wonderful job protecting itself by keeping big threats off the field, such as Vayu related crap and JD and DAD and Zombie Related Synchro Madness.

While it is also targeted, you run an effective SIX of these(Dimensional Fissure) per deck, at no life cost. Thus, it is significantly LESS fragile and desiring of protection.

The ideal cards in terms of fragilitiy are cards such as Book of Moon, quickplay spells that work quite well, and you can chain to random removal, making it hard to keep down, other than end-phase MST-ing it.

Threatening Roar. Possibly Kycoo if other me can bring them.

Manevolent Catastrophe, Trap Stun, and the regular lineup of Hero Blast Spammage. Problem Solved.

Quick thoughts after testing it a bit:

SO MUCH MONSTER REMOVAL!!!

3 Dark Valkyria, 3 Gemini Spark, 1 Future Samurai, 1 Gale, 3 Hero Blast, 2 BTH, 2 Chaos Sorc.

It feels excessive, BUT it works!
End phase Descend Dark Valkyria, Tack on Supervis, Crack a monster, Gemini Spark another monster, Supervis revive same Valkyria, Dual Summon and crack a third. Attack and shrink the last monster. Field CLEARED.

Meanwhile, I still need one more monster, preferably LIGHT, as a beatstick...

I reduced Miracle Descent back to one, and dropped the Allures. RFP just isnt goanna be reliable enough.
Also, Allures just have too little targets to hit...

Trap Stun sided. Considering to main, dropping Dust Shoot and Solemn. Itll help with GBs but will suck against LS.

Three Rainbow Dragons is so awesome. Whoever said running 3 was a stupid idea needs to see three in action.

If only it were 1000 attack...
However, it still gets around that stardust dragon if you used ritual fiends, but doesnt stop stardust road.

Hi. I just decided to start a blog today.

I'm Andrew, from Malaysia. Call me Gambit or Gambitto. Up to you, and I have no idea where my friends came up with that so long ago.

I'm currently living in Penang, going to Medical School. Its Tough.
